There was a time when “recycling” was a household word, but these days people don’t talk about it much. 

At Big Chipper, we still talk about recycling. A lot.

The concept of recycling wood waste is still relatively new, and most construction and manufacturing waste is still dumped into landfills. This is a problem because at the rate garbage is generated in this country today, there will need to be 500 new landfills every year -- which costs millions of dollars. As the price of waste disposal continue to increase, municipalities, businesses, and industries will seek more cost-effective ways to reduce the amount of waste they produce and to decrease waste disposal costs. That’s where Big Chipper can make a difference.  

We’re an industry leader in wood waste recycling. And we’re constantly on the lookout for new and better ways to use recycled wood,  from residential yard use to animal bedding to co-generation fuel (often called “hog fuel”). This helps our customers solve their wood waste problems, and it also helps preserve and protect our environment.
